United States Mileage Rates

DATABASICS maintains the standard United States mileage reimbursement rates based on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) published mileage rates.

As part of our standard service, DATABASICS updates the U.S. mileage rate in production environments whenever the IRS issues a new mileage rate, unless a customer has specifically requested that their mileage rates remain fixed and not be automatically updated.

Customers who choose not to receive automatic IRS mileage rate updates are responsible for reviewing and maintaining their own mileage reimbursement rates within the system.

International Mileage Rates

For countries outside of the United States, DATABASICS does not automatically update mileage reimbursement rates. Mileage regulations, reimbursement policies, and government guidance vary significantly by country and may change at different times throughout the year.

To assist customers, DATABASICS provides reference information for international mileage rates on our mileage rate reference page. These rates are provided as a convenience only and should be independently reviewed and verified by each customer before implementation.

Customers are responsible for:

Reviewing applicable government or regulatory guidance for their country.
Confirming the accuracy and applicability of any mileage reimbursement rates.
Updating their DATABASICS configuration as needed to reflect approved rates.

Customer Responsibility

Mileage reimbursement rates can have tax, payroll, accounting, and compliance implications. Therefore, customers are responsible for ensuring that the rates used within their DATABASICS environment comply with their organization's policies and any applicable local regulations.
