DATABASICS Extract and Reporting Options

The options to extracting data from DATABASICS are available in the following methods depending on the type of data and frequency.

Profile Post Timesheets or Expenses  

• Unique batch number gets created for all the records that got extract and the system does flag the records as posted. 

• For timesheets any changes on already extract records it will be handled as adjustments on the next posting.

• Recommend for Approved reports or timesheets.

• Frequency is based on the pay cycle, weekly, biweekly, semimonthly and monthly.

Ad Hoc Reporting

• Ability to produce CSV output file from any report.

• Ability to schedule a CSV output file to get emailed or save it on an SFTP Server.

• Ability to call a specific report and produce a CSV output using REST API.

REST API

• Ability to Time and Expense Utilities by REST API and retrieve the data in JSON format.

• Frequency is managed by your API calls. Recommended

DATABASICS API or JDBC Driver

• Using DATABASICS JDBC Driver to run SQL statements against Time and Expense Utilities. 

• DATABASICS JDBC Connector to be used for external reporting tools such as PowerBi.

Customized data dump file output

• Customized a data file output to be saved on the SFTP.

• Schedule a job to produce the Data file output to be placed on the SFTP or push it to the customer SFTP.
