Content from a Topic

Topics are created to be used by others to access data more conveniently in creating a report. Creating a report from a Topic is simpler than creating one from a Domain but is less flexible.


To begin designing a Topic-based view:

  1. Launch the Ad Hoc Editor by clicking Create →  Ad Hoc View.
  2.  In the Select Data wizard, click and navigate to Ad Hoc Components > Topics.
  3. Expand the Topics folder and select a topic.
  4. Another way to view the topics is in the list view . Topics will be identified with a icon in the list. 
  5. Click on "OK" to move on the Ad Hoc Editor.
