To enter States:

  1. Click on Expense to expand the menu.
  2. Click on Place to expand the menu.
  3. Click on State.
  4. Click the Add button in the State window.
  5. In the Country field, click the drop down to select a country (set up under Country).
  6. Enter an ID in the State ID field. The maximum length of this field is 20 characters.
  7. In the Name field, enter a name to identify the state. The maximum length of this field is 100 characters.
  8. In the Search Name field, enter a name that this state can be searched by.
  9. In the Description field, enter text to further identify the State. This field is limited to 255 characters.
  10. In the Active box, check the box if this state is to be available for selection now.
  11. Click the Save button.
