To search for existing clock in session

  1. In the Clock Editor (Admin -->  Time --> Time Clock --> Clock Editor) use the filter on the right hand side to search for the user you would like to update.
  2. Filter:
    1. Based on Status -
      1. Clocked In - retrieves all active clocked in sessions that have not been clocked out yet
      2. Clocked Out - retrieves all sessions that have been started using clock in function and have been clocked out
      3. Unapplied – retrieves sessions that have been clocked out, but the hours have not been applied on a timesheet yet, because the timesheet is in the Open, Approved, Closed or Posted status and access to the timesheets is restricted.
    2. Specific employee - search the employee in the "Employee" field.
    3. Based on dates - use the Date From and Date To field.

In the filter, you can use as many fields as needed to refine your result. The ones mentioned above are the fields commonly used.

By default the system retrieves “Clocked In” sessions.

Please note that an administrator cannot start a brand new clock session for a user using this feature. In 7.4 there is a feature to start a brand new clock session.
