To create a new Credit Card Template, access Credit Card Mapping > CC Template then click Template Setup.
- From the Template Setup screen click Add
- CC Template - Enter an ID for this cc template
- Name - Enter in a Name for this cc template
- Description - Add a Description for this cc template
- No of Digits after decimal - This refers to the precision of decimal places used when presenting amounts or values in a file format, such as a credit card transaction record. It specifies how many digits should appear after the decimal point in amounts.
- Debit Credit Location: This indicates the specific place within the file format where information about whether an amount is a debit or credit is stored or indicated.
- Date Format - Select a date format from the drop-down list of options
- File Type - Select the file type from the drop-down list of options
- Connection Type
- Single Template: All the information we load from the file is contained within a single line.
- Line Sequence: This refers to the arrangement or order in which different lines of information appear within the CC file.
- Fields: Data might appear on various lines in the file, and we must utilize specific fields to connect the data to a sub template. Example: In a VISA VCF file, additional transaction details (such as air passenger, car rental, hotel, etc.) can be extracted. The file contains a primary line with transaction information and additional lines with supplementary data. We use fields that match in both sets of lines to establish connections between them.
