DATABASICS Short Webinar Series-Creating Ad Hoc Reports

DATABASICS Recorded Short Webinar Series

How to create Ad Hoc Reports?

The Ad Hoc Editor allows you to create tables, crosstabs, and charts by dragging and dropping elements into the editor. You can:

  • Select report types

  • Add fields

  • Define groups

  • Select labels and styles

  • Select summaries and data formats for each field.

How to schedule Ad Hoc Reports?

DATABASICS Reporting allows you to create Jobs in order to run reports at pre-determined times. These jobs are run in the background and saved in the repository. You can also specify a file format and have those results e-mailed to yourself or other users as an attachment.

A scheduled report inherits the access rights of the user who created it. The report will contain all of the data that that user has access to. If a user with limited access views the report, that user will still be able to see all of the data that the original user has access too. If the scheduling user has limited access rights, other users will only be able to view the report with the same limited access.

Only the user that created the scheduled report or an administrator can edit that job.
