To improve scheduling performance, consider the following recommendations when scheduling your report:

  1. When selecting the file format, always use the ‘Overwrite Files’ option: This prevents the creation of a new file every time the report is generated, which could potentially slow down the report experience over time.

  2. Avoid scheduling large amounts of data: Avoid scheduling reports for more than three months' worth of data. Additionally, schedule reports that are feasible to review within a reasonable timeframe.

  3. Saving scheduled reports: When saving reports to the repository, it is recommended to create a subfolder named ‘Scheduled Reports’ to maintain organization and ease of access.

  4. Emailing reports: If you are emailing your report, consult with your IT team to see what your limitations are regarding file attachments. If the report exceeds these limits, there is a possibility that you will not receive the email notification.

  5. Maintaining scheduled reports when an administrator departs: If an administrator leaves the company, review the scheduled reports to ensure none were associated with the departing individual.
