DATABASICS integrates with PEX Card to download Credit Card Transactions to apply to expense reports.
Prerequisites
To configure PEX integration with DATABASICS, you need the following items:
You would need to have admin login to PEX create a new administrator and name it "databasicsintegration" or "db_integration" or something like that which will help you control the level of access which will be granted to DATABASICS. You can then control the permissions on that user to ensure that even if you somehow get a hold of that account (which you won't) you will only have the permissions granted to that user.
Next Steps
DATABASICS Support will send you a URL link to click on and it will redirect you to PEX login page.
Once you click on the URL link that is provided by DATABASICS Support. The link will redirect you to the PEX OAuth URL. PEX will present the login form prompting you to enter in your PEX credentials as stated in the Prerequisites above section. Upon entering your credentials, PEX will authenticate the user, and determine what features they are authorizing your application to access.
3. You must click “ALLOW” this will give DATABASICS access to the listed features in order for PEX to provision a token to your app.
4. You should get a message along the lines of “Thank you for using DATABASICS” once you click allow.
5. Please let me know once this is done and we will have our services team to confirm they have the token and we are able to access the PEX Transaction data.
