To configure PEX integration with DATABASICS, you need the following items:You would need to have admin login to PEX create a new administrator and name it Admin login to PEX. DATABASICS does not need to know the credentials you use, but your login (see 2. below) authenticates your intent to pass transactions to DATABASICS.
If desired, a separate administrator profile, named "databasicsintegration" or "db_integration" or something like that which will help you control the level of access which will be granted to DATABASICS. You can then control the permissions on that user to ensure that even if you somehow get a hold of that account (which you won't) you will only have the permissions granted to that usersimilar can be created to control permissions you want to grant the user in the interface: for the purposes of the transaction load PEX restricts access on the token level (see 3. below).
Next Steps
DATABASICS Support will send you a URL link to click on and it will redirect you to PEX login page. Once you click on the URL link that is provided by DATABASICS Support. The link will redirect you link you will be redirected to the PEX OAuth URL.
PEX will present the login form prompting you to enter in your PEX credentials as stated outlined in the Prerequisites section, above section.
Upon entering your credentials, PEX will authenticate the user, and determine what features they are authorizing your application to access.
