Notes are used to explain specific entries on a timesheet. Depending on the configuration on Time, notes may be required for certain lines. Notes can be added for an entire line or specific dates within a timesheet line.
Viewing Timesheet Notes
- Clicking on the Notes tab tab will display all of the notes added to the timesheet
- While in the Notes tab, clicking on any timesheet line will display only the notes associated with that line.
Adding a Note
- From the Timesheet tab icon for the line you wish to add a note. Alternatively, you can also add a note via the Notes tab by clicking Add Note (6.0) or Add (6.1 and above). button after clicking on any timesheet line. , click on the
- Enter the note in the Notes pop up window.
- Identify the Start Date and End Date for which this note applies.
- Click Apply SAVE & CLOSE to add the note.

- Find the note you wish to modify in the Notes tab tab
- Click on the edit woud would like to update the note. icon on the line you
- Edit the note and/or dates
- Click Apply when SAVE & CLOSE when you are done.
Deleting a Note
- Find the note you wish to delete in the Notes view.
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm the deletion by clicking "Yes" in the dialogue box.
