A clock in session can be automatically clocked out by the system if the auto clock out details are set in the T&E Setting and a corresponding profile has been scheduled under Data Piping. If the auto clock out process is enabled and a session happens to be auto-clocked while the timesheet is in the Open someone else, Closed or Approved status (and the edits to the timesheet have been enabled), the hours from the time clock session will not be applied on a timesheet yet until the status is updated;, these hours remain in the unapplied status. An additional scenario when hours could remain in the unapplied status is when a timesheet is opened by a proxy and the user is trying to clock out.

  1. In the Filter window search for timesheet sessions in the Unapplied status.
  2. Click Apply to retrieve the results.
  3. Select the session
  4. You can attempt to “reapply” the pending hours into a timesheet, in case timesheet status has been updated to “On Hold”, “Released” or “In Approval Process”. Or wait for the scheduled profile job to insert the hours .(The profile type is called "Time In & Out Profile Auto Checkout"  and it must be scheduled via Job Schedule)
  5. Click Reapply
  6. Enter in a note in the Notes field. This field is required
  7. Click Apply
