To start a new clock in for a user, the following steps can be followed. This option will copy the existing timesheet details (time code and charging structure) and does not allow you to edit from this screen.

  1. In the Filter window search for timesheet sessions in the Clocked Out status.

  2. Click Apply to retrieve the results.

  3. Select the session

  4. To start a specific session select the session and click on New Clock In button.

  5. Select an Event Date to apply the clock session to a specific day.

  6. Select a Clock In time.

  7. Enter in a note in the Notes field. This field is required. 

  8. Click Clock In

If the selected timesheet day already includes hours from a previous session, the additional time will be added to the existing hours.

Hours can be further modified by an administrator, by logging into a timesheet as a proxy user.

To enter in a brand new entry for a user with no existing coding (time code and charging structure)

  1. In the Clock Editor (Admin -->  Time --> Time Clock --> Clock Editor) click on "Add" and select "Clock In".

  2. In the entry screen, fill in all fields marked with an asterisk *. Note: the field names may vary for each site set up.

  3. Click on "Apply" after all required fields are completed.

  2. Click Apply to retrieve the results.

  3. Select the session

  4. To start a specific session select the session and click on New Clock In button.

  5. Select an Event Date to apply the clock session to a specific day.

  6. Select a Clock In time.

  7. Enter in a note in the Notes field. This field is required. 

  8. Click Clock In

From the Admin menu expand Time → Time Clock → Clock Editor

  1. Click the Clock In Only button

  2. In the Clock In pop-up window fill out the required fields.

The WBS distribution fields (Client, Project, Task..) may differ based on the individual configuration

Then click on the Clock In button

Check the Keep Window Open For Multiple Entries After Save checkbox, if you intend to add more Clock In sessions.
