Personal Field Missing from expense entry, Why?

Problem

Personal is enabled but it is not showing in the expense entry.


Answer


if charge is reimbursable to an employee, the personal field does not show even if personal is allowed for the expense type because only the business amount is getting reimbursed.  

If the user has a card paid by company, not reimbursable, the personal amount field will show to allow user to show how much of the business charge was a personal amount.

If you use Hotel Itemization, the personal amount will show in both cases because in the itemization of the hotel charge, there could be some personal charges not reimbursable, like a movie.

If your users itemize a charge, personal will show.
