Budget Type Setup

DATABASICS supports multiple budget distributions for the same budget across the same period. This is accomplished by defining different Budget Types. Budget types enable comparisons between different budgets such as a comparison between what was originally planned (a baseline budget) vs. how the plan was later modified due to actual data (revised budget) or how it is anticipated to look (projection budget).

To create a budget type:

1. Click on Budget Type on the menu under Budget
2. Click on the Add button.
3. Enter a budget type in the Budget Type field.
4. Enter a name in the Name field.
5. Click on the Save button.
