The Holiday Table maps holiday dates to each location in DATABASICS. 

How to Create a new holiday:

  1. Go to Organization on the left side of the screen and click the plus to extend the Organization options. 
  2. Select Location.
  3. Choose a Location.
  4. Click the Holidays tab.
  5. Select Add and fill in the details:
    1. Select the Date
    2. Type the Holiday Name
    3. Select Yes or No if it should be included in the Time Code Validation. 
  6. Click Save All when all holidays have been entered.


How to copy holidays from one location to another

You may have multiple locations set up that share the same holidays. Instead of setting them up for each location we have a feature that copies the holidays from one location to another.

  1. Go to Organization on the left side of the screen and click the plus to extend the Organization options. 
  2. Select Location.
  3. Choose a Location.
  4. Click the Holidays tab.
  5. Click Copy From 
  6. In the pop up window, select
    1. Location you would like to copy from 
    2. Method
      1. Overwrite - write over existing holidays
      2. Merge - merge with existing holidays
      3. Rewrite - this will remove any records that do not exist in the location you are copying from
  7. Click Copy
