DATABASICS Time and Expense Admin allows users to designate Favorites. Users can either do this within Admin, or they can add external favoritesitems from the admin menu as their Favorites. For example if certain functions are used more often than the others, the Favorites can provide a shortcut to access these screens.
To add favorites within Admin:
- Go to any admin page you would like to add as a favoriteto your favorites.
- At the top , there will always be an icon of a yellow star with a green plus sign. Click that icon.
- The item is now in your favorites (top left corner under where it says "Administration")
To add external favorites:
- Right click on Favorites.
- Click on Add External Link.
- A pop up box will appear that is titled "New Add a url to Favorites".
- In the Name field, enter the name that you want the website to be called (example: CNN).
- In the Url Address field, enter the URL of the website you want (example: http://www.cnn.com).
- Click Save.
- The new favorite will no appear under Favoritesin menu bar click the icon.
- From the list click the Add To Favorites.
- Once you click the icon, the page will now be in your favorites (First menu option on the left in Admin).
To delete favorites:
For favorites within Admin, you can go to the section that you marked as a favorite. The star will have a red minus sign instead of the green plus sign. Click the icon.
For external favorites (or to quickly delete Admin favorites):
- Right click on the favorite you wish to delete (example: CNN).
- Click Delete.
- The favorite has now been removed from your favorites.Go admin page you would like to remove the favorite.
- At the top in menu bar click the icon.
- From the list click the Remove From Favorites.
