DATABASICS integrates with PEX Card to download Credit Card Transactions to apply to expense reports.

...

To configure PEX integration with DATABASICS, you need the following items:

...

You would need to be a PEX Customer

...

Admin login to PEX. DATABASICS does not need to know the credentials you use, but your login (see 2. below) authenticates your intent to pass transactions to DATABASICS.

If desired, a separate administrator profile, named "databasicsintegration" or "db_integration" or

...

similar can be created to control permissions you want to grant the user in the interface: for the purposes of the transaction load PEX restricts access on the token level (see 3. below).

Next Steps

  1. DATABASICS Support will send you a URL link. Once you click on the link you will be redirected to the PEX OAuth URL.

  2. PEX will present the login form prompting you to enter in your PEX credentials as outlined in the Prerequisites section, above.

Upon entering your credentials, PEX will authenticate the user, and authorize the transaction load.

  3. You must click “ALLOW” in order for PEX to provision a token to your app.
This will give DATABASICS access to the features listed. You will get a message along the lines of “Thank you for using DATABASICS”, to confirm your selection.

  4. Inform DATABASICS once you receive confirmation.
We will have our services team confirm they have the token and we are able to access the PEX Transaction data.
