The purpose of the Overtime Computation module is to have a user log all of their hours to straight time and the for the system to automatically replace the hours with Overtime and/or Double time code based on the rules built in the module. The section documents how to set up the time codes to be replaced and the time codes to replace with.
To set up a new rule expand Time by clicking the arrow
Expand Overtime Computation by clicking the arrow
Expand Overtime Policy then click Replace Rule
Click the Add button and fill out the required fields as applicable.
The options are documented below. An asterisk * indicates that the field is required.

*Policy Name | Defines the policy name or brief description to describe the policy rule |
*Original Time Code | A time code to be adjusted by overtime. When overtime is auto calculated the system converts any excess hours from “regular” to “overtime. The hours charged to the time code selected in this field will be adjusted. |
*Time Code to replace | A time code that should replace the hours charged to the time code specified in the Original Time Code field |
*Hour Start/Minute Start | Specify the beginning hour and minute of the time interval at which the shift begins |
*Hour End/Minute End | Specify the ending hour and minute of the time interval at which the shift ends |

Step 2
In the step 2 of the policy setup indicate the policy conditions if overtime should only be calculated for hours charged to a specific project or a project group.
To add a query condition click the Add button
From the Query Field drop down menu select a a corresponding field
If more than one query applies, select the additional fields and save.

Click on Add to add a query to the policy.
Click on the drop-down menu next to *Query Field and select the field you would like to query base off of.
Enter in a Condition
In - Provides a list of values that are available in the field that can be included
Not In - Provides a list of values that are available that can be selected to not include
= - equals (the exact value will need to be entered)
<> - not equals (the exact value will need to be entered)
Like - like (value will need to be entered)
Not Like - not like (value will need to be entered)
Enter in a Value
Click the Finish button to complete the setup.
